I was there earlier today. I go there for the sweets 😁 However, I'm pretty sure I saw both.
You went by the old pizza place thsts blue building with white trim, it's going to be Italian pasta I heard, not sure if true, you was close to BD BAKERY but missed it by a block. BD BAKERY in a white bldg.
One of the best views!
Yes they do. Here's a link to their menu:http://www.blackdiamondbakery.com/breakfast
I don't know! But what a great place!
Pretty sure,,, N O
The breakfast here is awesome!
Everything is good here; made with care and attention to detail.
The baked goods here are fantastic, and the view on a clear morning is BEAUTIFUL. Their breakfast items are so-so, but the prices are reasonable enough that you don't mind.
This place was great. Little out the way but well worth it. Also the attached bakery has some delicious bits.
Very good food, friendly folks.Limited seating right now.Wonderful bake goods.
Do not miss stopping here if driving through Black Diamond. The restaurant is very good and serves breakfast until 2pm. There is also a bakery and place to buy coffee and ice cream if not wanting a sit down meal. The view of Mt Rainier from the restaurant windows is amazing, on nice days there is even a patio to sit outside and eat at.
A typical dinner/country style eatery. Eggs, Bacon Hash Browns, Pancakes! Place was Clean, Cost is $35 for 2, Service is great. HUGH portions! Bakery was Classic Country style. Go Early, Go Very Hungry!
I was up from Eugene helping a friend get settled into a new home and was lucky enough to be taken out to breakfast here. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The service is excellent and you can tell that everything there is made from scratch. Thanks for the enjoyable experience... Will definitely become a regular on my Seattle trips!
it was a nice atmosphere kind of like a memorabilia of the good ole day's growing up and going with you're parents when you were little. portions were spot on lots of deserts.... yum Russian pretzels yummy bear claws oh and the Bismark to die for..
Exceptional food great family environment reasonable prices
So, at first I thought the food was taking quite some time to get to us but after receiving it, it was crazy good! They clearly care about the quality of their dishes and with that said, I'm ok with the wait. Would definitely eat here again!
This Place is the Classic American Experience! Great Food, great service and amazing flavor. Do not hesitate to visit...
One of my favorite places in the world. Cinnamon rolls and donuts are what We make a special trip for.
Staff is friendly, food was tasty. The owner her self helped me with the bakery in finding what I was looking for. Love there garlic bread.
This is a secret little gem that anybody that lives within 20 miles should visit on a regular basis anybody coming from out of town has to stop here amazing pastries and breads
A pleasant surprise in an out of the way location! The food was great, and the wait staff were amazingly patient with a workplace gathering of about 20 people. I will be returning soon with my family!
Great bread and pastries. Set up great for keep distance . nice people to help you.
Very cute mom and pop with good food and EXCELLENT service! Spotlessly clean, observing social distancing and precautions like pros, gorgeous view and located in the neatest little shopping center! The baked good are amazing and so is the friendly attentive staff!
Still delicious! They're handling social distancing and take-out very well. Definitely worth stopping in
Great Bear Claws and donuts yum
The Italian omelet is delicious and Coal miners daughter smoothie! They need a new blender as there are big chicks of ice in the smoothie so it makes it hard to drink though.
bakery still open and delicious! Super clean, and their from scratch baked goods, are second to none. I love the fresh croissant club sandwich for takeout!
It's been open for over 100 years. Big breakfasts, great food and fast service. Not only that, but there's an excellent bakery. Everything is fresh every day. Get there early on weekends otherwise you're in for a wait. Recent pictures of the Italian omelette and the “2 x 4” which is French toast, scrambled eggs, and thick-sliced bacon.
Loved the coffee and pastries. Fresh cinnamon rolls... so good. So popular and not enough parking but worth the wait.
I got a chocolate chip cookie. It was days old. Hopefully when they can open the restaurant again they will sell enough to keep fresh food. Until then I'm done going out there.
We always stop when we're in the area. Great food, wonderful service.
Great enviorment, food and staff is very friendly. Can tell this is a small town restaurant. Was worth the 20 min drive!
A cozy little place with great food and a really friendly staff. They are great at making you feel welcome. The food always comes really quick and their menu is delicious. The bakery has just as tasty stuff to choose from. Not a fancy place, but if you are looking for a relaxed environment to have a meal, this is the place.
They have extremely generous filling in their Bismarcks. The pastries are second to none. The service and coffee is excellent. There is a lot of seating capacity!
Good down home food, friendly service, popular with locals and bicyclers. Historic area.
We drive an hour and a half to eat at the Black Diamond Bakery. Every item we have had for breakfast has been a 10/10! French toast is very thick and fluffy. Breakfast peach appetizer is a nice (and always surprising, forgotten) touch!
Good food! Meatloaf and pot roast were fabulous! Be sure to buy a few giant cookies to share with your family!
Always a great experience. Great food friendly staff. Excellent baked goods.
The food here is amazing! And they have taco omelettes! I love the atmosphere and the friendly staff. Always a pleasure coming here :)
Pretty neat old bakery/restaurant. Lots of history on display if you walk around.
Excellent breakfast, wonderful wait staff. Highly recommended, in a charming setting as well.
Coming here is like visiting friends. The waitress staff is so welcoming and make us want to return. Our son is a young toddler and they help us keep him entertained/happy. The food is great! Prices affordable and portions worth it. The view from the main dining room is amazing. This has been s family gathering place, we miss having it open and can't wait to dine in again after stay at home order. We also can't leave without bringing home some treats and baked goods. Our favorite is the cinnamon rolls. Loved coming to live music series weekends in the summer time. Appreciated in a sleepy town like Black Diamond.
I have been dropping by this bakery since it was just a rustic building (with a huge brick oven) on a dirt side road in Black Diamond. It has always succeeded in satisfying my craving for some wonderful pastries. Over the years and through the succession of owners the core bakery has held its own. Along the way the restaurant on the south side was added and it has offered good food and service to match. At time the service can be a hit or miss. But it hasn't stopped us from going to have breakfast, lunch or dinner when we are near the bakery and hungry. Check it out for the pastries and coffee if anything.
It's a nice treat once in a while.
Been there multiple times. Lived in Kent and now Tacoma and willing to drive there cuz food is great. Love the taco omelet and breakfast burrito. Haven’t ever tried dinner or lunch items. On my bday last year, my sis told the waitress that it was my bday and she was so sweet that she brought out a donut with a candle in it and didn’t even charge us for it and lit the candle and sang happy bday w my family. The staff there have always been sweet and awesome. Their bakery is pretty good too. Highly recommend this place.
Swung in on a whim for breakfast. Grew up nearby and can only remember coming here 1 other time probably 20 years ago. Why haven't I been back? The breakfast was FANTASTIC and we had to grab some goodies from the bakery to bring back to Wenatchee. Pure heaven. The donuts were very tasty and the cinnamon rolls were blissful. Luckily my dad still lives nearby so I will DEFINITELY be making it a point to come in more often.
Macarons were expensive and tasted too sweet and cheap. Obviously didn’t leave a tip and the cashier had a bad attitude because I didn’t leave a tip. First and last time buying from here.
New owners are very rude. I didn’t know what donuts I wanted and to her it was nuisance. She got mad at me for not knowing the different flavors even though they are not labeled. At the end during transaction she threw pen down. Taste it good but experience ruined it.
